A volunteer, paramedic, and public figure known by the call sign "Taira." During the Revolution of Dignity in 2014, she served as a paramedic. With the start of the war in eastern Ukraine, she founded the paramedic unit "Taira's Angels." In March 2022, during the siege of Mariupol, she was captured by Russian forces and spent three months in captivity. After her release, she resumed her activities and returned to service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. She has been awarded the U.S. State Department's "International Women of Courage" award, the title of "People's Hero of Ukraine," and other honors.
