A public figure and IT specialist, Yanika Merilo has been serving as an advisor on innovation and international cooperation at the Ministry of Social Affairs of Estonia since March 2023. She previously worked as an advisor to the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov, and the Minister of Infrastructure, Vladyslav Kryklii.
Yanika is the founder of the charity project Angels and the NGO Heroiam Slava, which actively supports Ukraine during the war. She plays a significant role in the development of digital technologies and innovations, and is involved in volunteer work, assisting both Ukrainian soldiers and civilians during the ongoing conflict.
