Deputy commander of the 12th Operational Brigade "Azov" of the National Guard of Ukraine, Lieutenant Colonel. Actively participated in the defense of Mariupol and the Azovstal plant during Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. In May 2022, he was captured by Russian forces and was freed in September 2022, spending time in Turkey. He returned to Ukraine in 2023 and continued to work on defense issues, focusing on the current state and future development of the Ukrainian army.
