Ukrainian expert on the Black Sea region, head of the Black Sea Strategic Research Institute, and editor-in-chief of BlackSeaNews. Since 2017, he has led the Institute's monitoring group, focusing on the situation in Crimea, the Black Sea region, the militarization of the peninsula and the Black Sea, freedom of navigation, and international sanctions against Russia.
